About the Species

This specimen was made available to The University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility for scanning courtesy of Dr. Adam Summers of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of California, Irvine. Funding for scanning was provided by a National Science Foundation Digital Libraries Initiative grant to Dr. Timothy Rowe of The University of Texas at Austin.

About this Specimen

The specimen was scanned by Matthew Colbert and Richard Ketcham on 20 February 2002 along the coronal axis for a total of 854 512x512 pixel slices. Each slice is 0.5 mm thick, with an interslice spacing of 0.4 mm (for a slice overlap of 0.1 mm) and a field of reconstruction of 100 mm.
